Brief 7-day itinerary for a Uganda safari
Day 1: Arrival at Entebbe airport in the morning and transfer to Murchison falls National Park
Day2: Do a chimpanzee trek and also have another hike and nature walks
Day 3: Transfer west to Kibale National Park for chimps and transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park and have an evening game drive
Day 4: Have a lion tracking experience in the Ishasha sector for tree climbing lions and also have an afternoon game drive and transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable
Day 5: Enjoy the ultimate gorilla trekking experience in the morning and have a nature walk later and enjoy the Batwa cultural experience.
Day 6: Proceed to Mgahinga National Park for more gorillas and then transfer to Lake Mburo National Park

Detailed itinerary for a 7-day Uganda safari
Day 1: Arrival at Entebbe airport in the morning and transfer to Murchison falls National Park
You are welcome to Uganda, the Pearl of Africa, as our company representative waits for to receive you and either hand you the car if you are intending to self-drive, or pick to you from the airport if you hired a car with a driver.
When you arrive in the morning, you will drive or be driven to the north-west to Murchison fall national park. On arrival, you can have your lunch and then have an afternoon game drive to sight elephants, lions and Rothschild’s giraffes.
You can also an evening have a boat cruiser on the Nile River.
Day 2: Have chimp trek and do a hiking and nature walk
At Budongo forest or Paniyo Pabidi, which is part of Murchison fall national park, you can trek for chimpanzees and also sight other primates in the park such as black and white colombus monkeys and baboons.
After your chimp trekking, you have a hike to the top of the falls along the trails and after have a nature walk to sight different bird species and also discover the numerous and unique plant species.
Day 3: Transfer to Kibale National Park for chimpanzee and transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
You can have an extended sight of the chimpanzees in the Primate Capital as you trek through the park and also see other primates such as olive baboons, red-tailed monkeys, red colombus monkeys, and other animal species such as different antelope species.
Later that evening, self-drive or be driven west to Queen Elizabeth National Park
Day 4: : Have a lion tracking experience in the Ishasha sector for tree climbing lions and transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable
In Queen Elizabeth National Park, you will have the most satisfying lion tracking experience there is in the world, as you will watch lions resting on trees. An afternoon game drive to sight buffaloes, elephants and hippos at Kazinga channel.
Later in the day, transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.
Day 5: Enjoy the ultimate gorilla trekking experience and Batwa experience
The ultimate gorilla trekking experience in the morning, to see gorillas in their natural habitat, how they feed and socialize with each other. When you have a nature walk along the trails you will get to find and have an experience with the Batwa people who are the indigenous persons of this forest.
Day 6: Proceed to Mgahinga National Park for more gorillas and then transfer to Lake Mburo National Park
Mgahinga National Park is another paradise for mountain gorillas that you will get more satisfied with their intimacy. Golden monkeys can also be trekked and transfer to Lake Mburo National Park.
Day 7: Have a game drive in the morning and also do some birding in the afternoon and transfer back to Kampala or Entebbe in the evening
A morning game drive in Lake Mburo National Park to sight zebras, elands, giraffes, buffaloes, hyenas among others. You can also sight aquatic animals such as hippos, crocodiles and birds such as the shoebill stork.
Unique activities such as horse-back riding can be done, guided nature walks among others and then drive back to Entebbe National Airport or to your hotel residence.
